Travelling could be a fun; infact travelling could be an
only way to refresh your mind and allows you to understand an environment that
circles around the place you are visiting. But often we do not consider so many
things while travelling and find our self in a beauty of troubles.
While travelling within India our personnel documents could

in mind is currency. Make sure you have already contact your respective bank In

could be done as per their interest rates which may vary from banks to banks.
An official currency of Mauritius is the Mauritian rupee
that comes with various denominations and a liquid denomination which are available
between the range of 25, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1,000 and 2,000.
While exchanging a currency first thing we must remember is
a value of your native currency because it varies from country to country, so
you have to understand a value first weather its high on return or low on
counts.
The good things about Mauritius system is there no limit of
carrying a local currency or foreign currency and that allows a varied
convenience while travelling under a roof of Mauritius. Beside that there are
many ATM that operates wisely in every corner of Mauritius and it accepts all
the major credit cards and debit cards.
Shopping mall here accepts all kind of cards while
restaurant here accepts cash in return so it’s always better to carry cash
along with you for making any sorts of Payment.
Monday to Thursday: 09:15 to 15:15; Fridays: 09:15 to 15:30;
Saturdays: 09:15 to 11:15. These are business hours of bank In Mauritius. You
can carry Indian rupee and exchange it there but if you wish to make it
convenient than you can exchange it at your respective bank which also charges
some interest and it could vary from bank to bank.
On arrival you must brief them about your accommodation at
an immigration centre, failing to do so may result in termination of your entry
inside Mauritius.
Remember to carry your Visa, passport and onward tickets to
help them to do their service. Visa on arrival would have its validity for only
90 days and you must always remember to contact Mauritian embassy prior to the
date.
Apart from that voters I.D, driving license and other
important documents could prove to be handy during check on arrival because a
certainty could struck a door of your journey anytime so it is always advised
to carry all the important documents to make your journey comfortable and
convenient.
